Matthew Mayse, Cheer Team

Cheerleader Matthew Mayse was recently named Cowley College’s April 2025 Male Athlete of the Month.

Matthew helped the Tiger cheer team be crowned Region VI champions at the Region VI Cheer and Dance competition on March 16 and earned second place at the DTU Virtual Nationals on March 15. He is an outstanding leader on the co-ed cheer team, demonstrating dedication, teamwork, and a positive spirit.

His exceptional leadership skills are evident in the way he choreographed the dance section, bringing creativity and energy to the performances. The liberal arts major has a GPA of 3.15.
